The real "naked" C3PO (before he had an outer shell to cover his wiring) used to make Episode I. We saw it at the Discovery Science Center's special exibit of the props used to make the Star Wars movies.
Faith - an Eye, a Hand, a Mouth
From one of my favorite books:
“To say ‘justification by faith’ is merely another way of saying ‘justification by Christ’. Faith has absolutely no value in itself; its value lies solely in its object. Faith is the eye that looks to Christ, the hand that lays hold of him, the mouth that drinks the water of life.” - John Stott, The Cross of Christ
What encourages me most about this truth is that my salvation does not depend on the quality or strength of my faith. My faith does not feel very strong much of the time. It is comforting to know that my salvation depends solely on the one I have placed my feeble faith in. Weak faith is this strong Savior is enough to give us all the riches he offers.
Look to Christ! Lay hold on him! Drink this water of life! Come to him with your feeble faith, it can't hinder his saving power.

Knowing God (Audiobook) by J.I. Packer - Free this Month
J.I. Packer's great, classic book Knowing God is available for free this month as an audiobook. Make sure you get it before the offer ends!

"What were we made for? What aim should we set ourselves in life? To know God. What is the “eternal life” that Jesus give? Knowledge of God. “This is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3). What is the best thing in life, bringing more joy, delight, and contentment, than anything else? Knowledge of God. “Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me” (Jer. 9:23f).
