Read the Gospel of Luke and ask yourself, "What kind of person is Jesus? Can I trust him?" Isn't he exactly the kind of person that you would want to entrust your whole life to? Ask God to reveal himself to you as you read Luke. Ask him to bring you to the place where you want nothing more than him.
